How to set up eduroam on Chromebook

This method requires you to install the Eduroam CAT Setup tool. To do this, please click on the link below and then follow the instructions below.

Step 1

Once on the eduroam website, you need to click on the catagory that is relevent to you. For example if you are a student then click on student.

Step 2

Next, you need to click on the download button and it will download the Eduroam .ONC to your computer. If the website is showing the wrong device, simply click on "Choose another installer to donwload" and then pick the correct device

Step 3

The installer is a file with the extension '.onc'. Please download it, open Chrome, and navigate to the URL chrome://net-internals/#chromeos. Then, use the 'Import ONC file' button. The import is silent; the new network definitions will be added to the preferred networks.
